The Journey of TeaSmokers – From Struggle to Success

• 2009 In 2009, three friends – Prashant, Anoop, and Rashid – had just graduated from college. Like many fresh graduates, we stepped out into the world chasing jobs, chasing dreams, and hoping for stability. After months of struggle, each of us finally managed to secure employment and life seemed settled for a while.
• 2019 But then came 2019 end and the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. Offices began to shut down, and one by one, people around us lost their jobs. We too were not spared. Suddenly, the careers we had worked so hard for disappeared overnight. With growing uncertainty and financial pressure, it felt like everything we had built was slipping away.
• End of 2019 During that time, one thought kept running through our minds: “At the end of the day, whenever a crisis like this strikes, we all return home. So why not begin something right here, in our hometown – Prayagraj?” This idea became a spark that refused to die down. Day and night, we kept thinking about it.
• 2020-21 COVID Pandemic – Jobs lost, financial crisis
• 2021 After 8–9 months of planning, brainstorming, and hard work, we finally decided to build something of our own – a chai and café startup. From the very beginning, we also planned to design our café in such a way that it would give opportunities to others – especially those who lost their jobs during the pandemic or wanted to start a business of their own. Even before opening our first café, we had started working on a franchise model, with a vision to grow TeaSmokers into a brand that spreads opportunities as much as it spreads taste.
• 16 Aug 2021 On 16th August 2021, our dream took shape when we launched our first TeaSmokers Café in Civil Lines, Allahabad. From day one, we poured our hearts into every detail – serving freshly brewed tea, coffee, and delicious snacks with uncompromised quality. Slowly but surely, our taste and service began to win hearts, and our very first café became a resounding success.
• 11 Mar 2022 Encouraged by this journey, on 11th March 2022, we opened our second café in Tagore Town. The response was overwhelming yet again, and soon TeaSmokers became a name that people trusted and loved.
• 2025 What started as a small idea born out of crisis has today grown into a thriving brand with number of franchises across Uttar Pradesh. Each outlet stands as a reminder of our resilience, teamwork, and belief that even in the toughest times, new beginnings are possible.

TeaSmokers is not just about tea or coffee – it is about dreams, friendship, and the courage to start over.
